i wonder if the parts bolt onto an actual CJ7? like is it really THAT close? did they just buy already available unlicensed body parts?

I think these are really cool.

Off-road only, but cool nonetheless.

Diesel. Manual trans. Solid axles. I want one.

yeah, they've been around forever...guessing they are off road only cuz of updated safety standards, but I'm sure you could skirt that somehow...custom build title or something?

I wonder as well. Initially these were all made from the old dies used in the 50s.

If they were still using those then dimensionally they should be the same.

Could you take one of those CJ 5 bodies, bolt on the regular CJ 5 windshield and soft doors, grab an on old CJ 5 title and call it street legal?

There's a thread about them in Pirate.

Initially I was like...sweet!

Now it's a solid meh.

It's an under powered SxS with a "Jeep" like body.

There are much better ways to spend $15-18k

there's also a SH!T TON more power to be had from a 2.5L turbo diesel. is that hp the nominal tractor rating or a peak street rating too?!?!?

Cool in their own way, but I'll stick with my $7k RZR
