Where to mount Mechanical Temp sender 4.0 '88 MJ

Anyone have an idea where i can mount the sending unit for a mechanical temp gauge in the 88 Comanche 4.0?
It has the idiot light temp unit in the dash.
i'd like to hook up a mechanical gauge just wondering where the sending unit would connect to the engine/intake etc. for a reading.

i believe it will be 6' long
