Default aw4 band adjustment

Reading through my chilton's today and it doesnt say how to adjust the front and rear band on an aw4, am I assuming correctly that there is no adjustment? Im just about to drain it and change the filter on it.

IF the fluid is burnt out bad, change the fluid and filter, then in a week or so change just the fluid. That will help get it back to normal.

But to make sure that this doesn't happen again, you should get a tranny cooler in there!
