Im gonna be doing something more along the lines of this.

Like the fenders, but dang...could those round headlights make the front end any uglier??

I don't like it, if they were painted and the front end was left stock, I would like it better

Maybe they'll look better painted... but I really don't like them. I liked the line that the TJ flares give, but with just a tube there, it doesn't flow the same. Tube fenders for a cherokee need to follow the lines of the original wheel well to make it look more normal.

Man those are some tight radius'd bends! Impressive, although I don't really dig the front view.

put the turn signals behind the grill and drop the D-plate. Other than that looks cool.

x2

I'll be doing mine to mimic the same lines as the stock flare. Any idea on how the tube is supported to the unibody? That's the only thing keeping me from building these right now...

Those are some really sweet fenders... I should look into making a set, I've been hunting for some fender flares but unfortunately it is hard for me to find some since I have a newer XJ...

Yeah, I've seen those. Pretty cool design, but I'm not really diggin' the prerunner bulge fender look at all though. Something all steel like that, but with the flatfender style flares of the first ones would be trick though.

I was basically thinking like stock look, but metal instead. I like wide Bushwacker flares, so I'll probably look for a wide set. I still want them to be stock style though, just wide.
