Default Cotter needs a NP249 xfer case, anyone have one?

Cotter has ANOTHER case gone bad. Needs a NP249 long shaft case for his Grand Cherokee. Request a 95 or older.

That is all,

B

I have an NP231 from my 92. I would think they'd be the same case....direct swap.

Where you located?

I told him that last time...he wanted a straight swap. Not sure what the dif is for him...but whatever.

Give me the specifix and I'll look into it. Hell, I'll prolly be the one doing it anyway. Wait, no, maybe he'll just come use my garage. I made him do it pretty much by himself last time

Cooter needs someone to pay him to sit on Jeepin all day. This newsgroup has a distinct lack of conspiracies. And I can only wonder what Cooter vs Bushfan would have been like.

Yep, he'd own Bushfag. There'd just be a wast of postcounts tho....and that gets old.

This is Jeep Talk, what do I have to do to get him to swap that 231 into his Grand? He's got an 8 remember.

See, I want the 98 231 to swap in. With a pre-96 case I would need to swap input gears from the my 249 to the 231. I think for cotter it should be a direct swap as long as the input lengths are the same and the splines are the same, otherwise he would need to swap input gears like I would but the gear cut should be fine and he wouldnt have to worry about it. Ill throw up some links Ive got for the 231 swap.
