Since I was a chevy guy I'm still learnin bout Jeeps, so sorry if this topic has been discussed. Ive been hearin that the factroy 02 sensors start to go bad past 60,000 miles and if this is true it might be why my MPG is kinda crappy. Also heard to replace it with a factory Jeep 02 sensor, no bosch or autolite or anything or else things will get messed up. I'm goin to ice hockey now so I'll check back later, thanks.

I have used a Bosch O2 sensor in my 87 XJ for over 3 years with no problems. Maybe there is something about the high output 4.0L but would get another opinion. Check out autopartswarehouse.com. They have Bosch listed as a replacement part and have a "live ?" line you can ask about the replacement.
