Should i recommend washing the underside of my jeep after going mudding? Or is it alright if i just leave the mud on it? Would stuff rusting and breaking be a problem if i kept the mud on it?

Yes, always wash your jeep completely. Also be sure to spray the mud off all of your seals going into the t-case and diffs. Yes yes yes yes yes.

I tried. It's hard here in Maine. All we have around here is sand.

it stayed on until the rain washed it away...

it was even there when I was pushin' the Jeep into an advance auto parts parking lot to get my newly acquired junkyard alternator (which is still kickin, btw) tested, and the dude looked out and said "nice flame job!" and busted up.

A came home once, and my wife hosed the TJ off, because it looked Junky in the driveway.

She doesn't do that any more. I worked hard getting that mud exactly as I wanted it.

Now, the underside is important. I wish one could wash it off, and leave the body hacked up!.

I do clean both immediately when I have been to Padre Island.

Try a lawn sprinkler. It is good for washing the underside.
