snocross2xtremes Trail Guide Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: mich Posts: 1,956	will a 4.0 starter work on a 4.2 in my 88 yj? will a 4.0 starter work on a 4.2 in my 88 yj? __________________ dd- 99 dodge ram 318 5 speed, 11 inch lift, 60 front 70 rear 488 gears 38.5 sxs . peral white with blue flames. new trail rig- 94 juggy magnum 360 efi, 60 front and rear, and maybe some 42s in the works.. trail rig- 79 cj-5 built 360,727,d300,44/14bolt 488 gears with detriot lockers. 38.5x14.5x16.5 sold!! 88 mj 8 inch lift 33 tsl, long arms, ax15 all fliped over and smashed up now cut up and parted out RIP yea i cant spell so stop tellin me
