OK, so a week ago when we first started wheeling that day, my check gauges light came and I noticed I had no oil pressure. I let it sit to cool off and checked all the connections (which looked fine) and after about an hour, oil pressure was normal and I didn't think anything else of it. I start it up today after work to head home and the same thing happened, only today it's been sitting outside in 20 some degree weather since 8 am. It's being towed to the dealer tonight because I really didn't want to ruin my engine, especially since this is the 2nd time it's happened in a week. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas what's wrong? It's a 2001 4.0L with only 42k on the ticker. Any help would be appreciated

could be the by pass switch right near the oil filter. i cant think technical right now but it could be sticking open and making ya loose oil pressure.
