thanks Sygne.

Vtrizzed, I ended up buying a new LTB and am running the uberfubaredmissinglug one as my spare. The guys at the shop where like .

Anyway, I just made my own shims. Ended up being ~3*. I have yet to test drive it but the angle looks to be PERFECT. Finally. Pics will come later on.

EDIT: Nevermind the pics. Deke needs an inner axle seal and proper tools so i'm headed to Rausch Creek tonight instead of tomorrow morning. Pics to come Saturday night.

I didn't really ask because I don't have any form of roadhazard or anything on the tires, but, I needed a fullsize spare as is, and buying a new one wasn't too big of a deal. I still need to talk to Interco about it. If they think its warrentyable (... ) than hell yes, free tire. Otherwise, .

Just got back from Rausch, early. We hoped to stay tomorrow as well to meet up with Phillyzj but Deke was having major axle seal problems and the CJ we where with was, being old.

Pics/vid to come.

Made my own shims to sit at ~3*. Set the pinion perfect.

3/8" plate and a grinder. Lots of time and earplugs.

New center pins, old ones are screwed.

Perfect angles...

Shims in.

Back together.

Mofuggin PERFECT.

Nice new LTB to ruin...

Some macros of the missing lug. Notice the plys seperating.

New tire worked great at Rausch and the only vibes I have left are in the shaft itself. Slip joint is done for.

Yes. I needed a spare anyway. I'm going to talk to Interco about getting a replacement as soon as I have 7 hours to argue on the phone.

Already did that when I swapped the axle in. Just I measured wrong, so I had to fine tune the angle.

I had to use shims and a shackle also to get the pinion right but I dont have easy access to a welder. Just figured you would have taken the welder route being the flux core pro and all

I would have, but it was actually much easier to fab some small things than redo what I already did. It would also risk warping the tubes, heating and cooling it more than twice etc.
