I never knew about these things. Did you guys? I'd love to have one if it wasn't for that FUGLY front end.

And one from the Australian military:

I love the CJ-10. Toughest CJ ever built! Alot of guys replaced the grill with a standard CJ or YJ grill, almost an exact bolt in, they looked real cool, but gave Jeep the idea of the really ugly YJ Renegade I think.

Yeah, I know someone else posted a picture of a CJ-10 on here. If I recall correctly, they were used by the military only. Very few, if any, went to the general public. I think they are pretty cool. The front end makes then unique.

Only direct sales in the US were to the military, the USAF to be exact, but those were choped and turned into aircraft tugs, must if not all were also turned in to 2wd. All CJ-10 came as "LWB" but the tugs were shortened.

Is it just me or does that yellow one look like an 80's styled AEV BRUTE? Man, put a TJ front end on those LWB rigs and that'd be so-weet!!

All CJ-10s were LWB & the Air Forces' were shortened? That's interesting. This is the first time I saw the LWB CJ-10. I've seen the SWB CJ-10 many times before and thought it was the onlt one-didn't realize it was just a modified version.
