Default Reset service indicator

2012 Grand Cherokee Laredo 6 cyl. with Nav. I have a display on my instrument clustor that contains various information. Ther is a little i showing which leads to a message that service is required. I had the scheduled service and the dealer did not reset this. I cannot locate any information on resetoing the service indicator. Any help?

sometimes there is a button located in the glovebox or in the fuse panel, sometimes you turn the ignition to the 'run' position and stomp the gas pedal 3 times. you'd have to search through the owner's manual. should be in there somewhere.

According to ehow.com

1 Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position without starting the vehicle.

2 Press the gas pedal to the floor slowly three times within 10 seconds.

3 Turn the ignition off. Wait 10 seconds and start the engine.
