Default Grab handles for the JK

Wife mentioned them the last time we were out on the trail, figured I'd snag some. They were nice to hang onto when I was cruising as a passenger this past weekend.

Raingler 2", 3" or 4" vs. Jeeperman vs. Rugged Ridge

Which are best?

I have the rugged ridge ones, no problems with them. People kept complaining that it was hard to crawl into the back without handles.

No...they all cost roughly the same. I've bought the super el-cheapos out in Moab one year, lent one to Lubes n never got it back, didn't press cuz it sucked

My 8 has a couple mid grade ones...don't like how they move n pinch yer hand...these looked like they had a top section that prevented that, like the ones Bownut has in his Jeep.

I've got mastercrafts front and rear. Very happy with the quality.

Afaik the Jeeperman grips are discontinued. I've got stock on their 2" grips left in black, but that size won't fit a JK. For the back seat I really like the Rainger grips and how they mount to the sound bar. I also have a set of Raingler grip handles for the front (and we used Raingler grips on Jen's TJ).

Rugged Ridge has some handles that are identical to the Raingler rear seat handles, and you can get the RR ones in red if you wanted. They also show those same handles being able to be installed at the top of the windshield (as opposed to rollbar mounted front grips).

I'll have to look again what mine are for you. I had a set of 4 in the TJ, but when I went to the half cab, I moved the back 2 to Trisha's JK and they fit just fine. They have a large backing piece that is propably 4" x 6" that sits on top of the bar to keep it from slidding together like yours do. Then the nylon handle has a rubber tube or something on the inside for form and the foam wrap on the outside. I bought them out in Moab that year at the Arena and I don't recall them being that bad of price.

They actually look like this, but I don't see who makes them. I thought mine were Smittybuilt or something.

Yeah, if anyone ever went in there and replied I would have started it there

Now that it's here, I'm sure it'll just be us and those that are checking User CP that will respond

Thanks, Ryan, I'll check those out.

Mostly, was hoping to grab them from Dub.
