This could be interesting. I see what you are going for, but as you note right now the patina is even and original. The miss-matched colors could prove interesting.

How high do you have to have it currently to safely drive it without fender contact? Is that your normal ride height in the first photo this morning, or lowered for parking? I do think the smaller fenders will help with the tucked look that typically goes with the low-rider approach. Driveability has to take precendence though!

How is it driving at this point? Drivetrain solid, suspension handling ok?
