Hey dudes,
I am thinking about buying a 1996 XJ, either a limited or a country. It has around 65k miles, 5 speed 6 cyl., formerly driven by a woman who used it when she wasn't driving her Range Rover. Mainly to car the kids and te dog around suburban NYC. Wasn't a daily driver and probably never went in 4wd. What do you think the market value is? kbb.com placed the value at $7300, but I don't know if that is right or not. What do you think?

it sounds a little high to me even if it has low miles i would try to talk the lady down to 5 at least

I paid much less that that for my 97. If it's an individual, you can get a better deal than used stealerships, usually.

i would also offer abouit 5-6 because you can get a 1999 or 2000 for about 7-8 here
