for 15 bucks you cna get your driveshaft rebalanced, take it to the dealership if its still under warranty let dcx pick up the tab, jack up one wheel at a time and sping it to listen for anything in the tire itself, (ie: loose tire weights), wash out the backside of your wheels mud could be clumped causing a problem, get the brakes hosed down too, inspect the the yoke and rear driveshaft for any problems or looseness, also look at the ujoint that connects to the axle, and play with the steering shock a little bit, it is a 2000 but it could be shot, thats all i can do for you, good luck

and furthermore, is it actually death wobble?

people kinda throw around the term death wobble for every little vibration they get in an XJ. when this "death wobble" occurs...

do you have to come to almost a complete stop to make it go away?

do you have to change your underwear afterwards?

unless you answer yes to both of those questions, it it NOT death wobble.

please do hopever post up specifics on your suspension setup, and any other wheel, tire or driveline modifications you have/have had performed on the vehicle. as well as the speeds it occurs and under what conditions.

as johnny #5 said... INPUT.... NEED INPUT!!!

yes it is commplete death wobble. it is not safe to drive on the road. i have moved down to a 3 inch lift 32 inch tires (byu 11.5 inches) inch backspacing, dual stabvlizers welded adjustable track bar down tight, all tie rod ends are fine, shocks are fine, castor and pitch and toe are good, wheels are balanced, trac bar is dead on, wheel bearings are fine, steering box is fine, coil springs are clamped down, sway bar is tight, housing for all steering componetns are tight and welded solid and rotors are fine. what else can it be?
