I was wondering if anyone out there has hurculined plastic. I was planning on using it on my rocker panels for a two tone look. i thought it would be cool to also cover my fender flares with it. i was just curious if there were any known problem with it peeling off of plastic.

I work in the Auto body business and there is product called SEM that has a texture coating in a spray can and does a good job looking like most bedliners, I used it with Duplicolor spray can bedliner. Plastic does not like things sticking to it, and this is designed to stick. Plus Herculiner rep said it only works best when stripped down to the bare metal!! Plus it's not flexable and your flares will flex. Hope this helps. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Well I was planning on bedlining my flares(which I'm gonna do this summer). I tried it out on my factory mud flaps, which are made out of the same plastic. I was using the Duplicolor spray on bedliner. I put it on and let it dry, then flexed and bent the flaps around big time. The bedliner stuck like glue cuz of the texture I think. I know paint has trouble sticking to plastic unless it's specifically made for it, but the bedliner seemed to work great graemlins/thumbsup.gif
