Found this @ www.jeepey.co.uk. (http://www.jeepey.co.uk.) Never saw anything like it before. Wouldn't look half bad w/ a new front end. http://www.jeepey.co.uk/DCP_0797.JPG
I saw this in Petersons Off-road. I was just gonna post a message about it. I guess thy made a few hundred in America, then moved them to Mexico. I agree about the front end.

I think it looks AWESOME! Plus they put 1 ton running gear in them. icon_smile_big.gif icon_smile_big.gif The US Military used them as aircraft tugs, so you know they are pretty beafy. Plus Chris Durham runs a CJ-10 replica in the ARCA series and he GETS IT! graemlins/icon_bowdown.gif icon_smile_big.gif

Looks a litte funny but I could get used to it. Looks aren't what matters, atleast it doesn't have ifs!!!! 1 ton running gear as in 1 ton axles?? Thats sick man, I wouldn't mind going down to mexico and pickin one up. Probably not street legal in the us though.

I live in Mexico and I can tell you CJ-10s are as strange or rare as they could be in USA. What we did have were the J-10s which are the full size version of the comanche pick up.

I had a CJ-10A! This is the airport tug came on a heavy chassis with a D70 and a nissan diesel engine. There are CJ-10's that where more of a pick up overseas. the hood is the same as a CJ-7 or 5 you can bolt on the regular CJ fenders and grille. but you have a bobbed CJ bed right off that bat they are great!! and the tub will bolt onto a CJ frame. they have an all metal military hard top!
