transfercase noise

ok i have a 3 inch body lift (no jokesthey arent that bad) and i get this slight grinding noise from time to time in 2wd. i think the t case shifter needs to be adjusted. anybody elses do this if i move the shifter around a little bit it goes away so i think it isnt internal any suggestions also would the skyjacker brakcet help any.

I have the same problem with my XJ, I have a 3" susp. lift. when I pull up slightly on the t-case lever it goes away.

same thing here, but the noise is more like a ratlle (only in the 2wd position) that goes away when I pull it slightly up towards me. oh, and my XJ is stock height..

I'm thinking it could be a loose bolt from the lever... just a thought, but I haven't had the time to get under her. :(

im not 100% positive but im pretty sure its a little plastic spacer/washer type thing under the handle, you can go to the jeep dealership and get it replaced for 15 bucks
