What other things need to be changed or checked when putting a BL on a TJ? Seems like most 1" BLs also require 1" MM, but what about 2 or 3" BL? How does that work? Also, Tcase linkages, other stuff? What all do we need to check for each different BL height? Thanks so much! (By the way I know 3" BL is very bad, I'm just curious what needs to be checked when doing it)

No BL requires a MM lift. Alot of MMs require a BL though. Nothing wrong with a 3 inch BL, most ppl just dont like the looks of it. I'm one of em. I had a 3 incher on my YJ and replaced it for a 1incher. looks much better. I didn't put the 3inch on it was on when i got the JEep. When i swapped em heres all i did. Fan shroud had a drop bracket for the 3 inch. Wasnt needed for 1 inch, so i took that off. Shifter linkage. Left that on because i had a t'case drop on too, so i stil have the 1-inch linkage drop and left the 3inch linkage drop on. Other than that u just gotta make shure brake lines, fuel hoses and everything else is alrite when u do the BL

A nice body lift is the one from JKS, it measures 1 1/4". My buddy put that on his TJ with 2 inch spacers. He fit 33's pretty nicely. Check it out. http://jonfund.com/media/membersrigs/zitomer.jpg

i have a 3 inch body lift and i hate the looks but with a few little things you can cover that up but hey its a cheap easy 3 inches of lift. all you have to do is use the bracket for the t case and lower the raditor and fanshroud and add the bracket for the steering and thats pretty much it if you have an suto nothing for the tranny and if you have a manual you have to heat up and bend the shifter and it can be a pain in the ***
