avatar whoas

I've never had an avatar on here because I can't seem to get them on here. :bang: I went all the way to 50x50 pixels that is 1.16 KB. It says that I can have up to 80x80 or 19.5 KBs. So when I go to the "save Changes" button and then pops up and says it can't save my avatar, or something to that effect. I browse "my computer" and take it off of my desktop. That is where I'm getting them from. Am I doing something wrong? :dunno:
