Well since I decided not to get rid of the 2k XJ I figured I would do what I could to make her ride better. I already have a 2" OME lift on her and that part of the ride was taken care of. However I got some terrible bumpsteer that would turn into DW at times. So I decided that since I don't have the funds to put into my trail jeep that I am gonna sell her off. Since I know I won't get more than 1k outta her I wanted to take the really nice parts off. Naturally they are worth more then the 1k I would get regardless of parts. So big daddy offroad steering and JKS LCA's went on the DD. WOW what a difference, not a single bit of bumpsteer now, over really really bad bumps I get MINOR bumpsteer. Like hardly noticable. Now on to getting the in dash DVD/GPS/XM receiver and getting my seats recovered in real leather instead of vinyl with new heated seat elements. Then I will be done.
nice dude!
i got rid of mine too..... sold it for $400 in the form of the SX's...you can't balance a square wheel....

Same thing I did. It'd be nice to have a wheelin rig, but between money and a lack of time, I made the right choice. If I'm feeling that adventurous I'll just take the truck out.

I mean techinically I "could" afford it my wife makes enough for me to tinker with it. But with the extra money we have right now we are savin up for a house, and she wants to be able to park her car in the garage. Naturally since its a pretty expensive car I want it in the garage also.

i've been looking at getting some new adjustable lca's myself and the jks ones are on the top of my lift. how adjustable are they? will they work well for 3-5 inches of lift? also did that steering system tighten up your steering?

I believe the JKS LCA's are good from stock to about 5" max I believe. So thats a good amout of asjustability. I had em on a lift from 2"-3" then to 4.5" and still plenty more room for adjusting. Tighten up my steering by how? If you have steering slop then there is a bigger problem that no steering system(i.e. drag link, tie rod, and tie rod ends) will fix.
