Just put new leaf springs in the back of the 76, now sits about 3" taller - driveshaft is now too short (imagine that ) so we had it lengthened 2.5", now it's too long (by about 1") (won't bolt up.)

So If we shorten this thing by 1" do you think that's enough so that it won't "bottom out" when the springs are fully compressed?

ALSO, in theory, if the transfer case is mounted to the frame, and the springs and axle are mounted to the frame, should the driveshaft length have changed at all? We discussed that that should only push the body up.

Ninja edit: nevermind, forgot the body and frame were connected

Still, driveshaft guys, is 1" enough / too much? (estimated)
