What's the purpose of the low center tail light on dually trucks? Dodges have them on the tail gate (see below), and Fords seem to have them set btwn the tail gate and the bumper. :dunno:

required by law when wider than 83"
need 3 center ones at the rea rof vehicle, commonly called DOT lights, and then markers on the outside at the widest point, usually on the dually fenders.

Me too. It'd probably be pretty dumb to put them on a SWR truck though I guess, kinda like ricers putting V-Tech badges on a Toyota or something, or Type-R badges on a Pontiac.

A nice alternative would be the aftermarket led kit that runs the entire length to the tail gate, it tucks just below the tail gate, ill try a picture for ya.

That looks so hawt. Especially when each side is wired with the turn signals. Theres a truck on campus here with that. I like it.
