Who is using BullyDog products on your truck? Are you happy with them? What types of gains have you seen? Any issues with the auto trans?
We're looking at picking up BullyDog as a supplier so I'm trying to get some feedback on their products.
Thanks!

I run a Bully Dog Downloader on my '03. Overall I'm happy with it I guess, as it seems more or less transparent until I put it right to the wood, and then I get a little puff of smoke and a nice push back into the seat:driving: I will say, however, that my overall economy has dropped slightly while towing with it, but I account for that simply because I can now pull harder for longer periods of time up hills, and therefore burn more fuel... There's a fine line once you start BOMBing these oil burners:evil:
I sell pretty much all the main programmers; Edge, Bully Dog, Granatelli, Hypertec, Superchips....and Edge is by far the best for customer satisfaction and customer service. Bully Dog is a major pain to get ahold of, they just hired a bunch of new techs for the phones that dont know crap, and the product just seems to have more problems than others.
BTW...I sell at a wholesale supplier level, so I get feedback from many different offroad and performance shops all over. Edge FTW.

I have heard the same about bully dog on several diesel forum websites. I have not had personal experiences, but have seen alot of similar comments. While Edge may not be the best, I have heard several storiess of them exchanging stuff with no questions asked.

Thanks for the info Kurt. Edge seems to be the most popular from what I've seen here and on the diesel forums. We've already got a hook-up on Edge products, but we just got signed up with a supplier for Bully Dog too. Somehow we're already getting calls from customers looking for parts for their trucks, and half have asked about Bully Dog stuff. We were also offered a pretty good deal on the Triple Dog downloader for our truck, but that's not the way I'd originally planned on going...

So uh, who do you work for again? :brows:

:D I work for Competition Specialties...we supply up and down the west coast as far east as Colorado/arizona. We do have a sister warehouse that supplies to your area though, Arrowspeed. However we do have some customers all over teh country. Problem is we require our customers to be a stocking jobber customer with a showroom.

There are a bunch of guys on the diesel forum I am on using that and making some crazy power. Especially if you step up to a bigger turbo as well.

I've been wondering when the HPTuners guys release their Duramax software. They should clean house when they do. I'm planning on buying their software for the gasser.

Well, they said something similar for the A2 monitor and it took like 6 months after for it to actually release. But, I just called them last week and they have already finished alpha testing and are now taking it to Beta testing....then it will be released.

Welcome
Unfortunatly, we are seperate entities...so your account does not transfer over to our database...otherwise Id tell you to call me and Id hook you up on all the deals. If you ever have any questions on what types of deals you're getting (% off jobber) let me know....I dont know about arrowspeed, but we will match any advertised wholesale price, so if they do...i can get you hooked up on the deep deals. Arrowspeed also carries some lines that we dont, and vise-versa....
