i have recently bought a trailer for my jeep and will be tpwing with a 98 dodge ram 1500. i think i could use a sway bar set up because it gets a little shady around 55-65. its got a 16 deck so my guess is that its probably around 18' long. im wondering what sway bar set-up i should use.

Might try a different placement of the jeep on the trailer. If you have access to a scale, try to put the jeep on the trailer and get about 10-15% tongue weight.

It's a tandem axle trailer right? I sure hope so... anyway, I'd do what Ed recommended first, try putting the Jeep in a different spot. If it's getting squirrely on the road, you may not have enough tongue weight, or you could have way too much.
On our trailer, once we found the right spot for the Jeep to sit (trail and error pulling it), I marked the position of the front tire with a dot of spray paint, that way I can always get the rig parked just right now.
IMHO sway control systems aren't quite as important on tandem axle trailers as they are single axle trailers.
We had to put a sway control system on our first camper (single-axle pop-up). It looked just like the first one on this page:

The RV place installed it for us and they just welded a plate to the side of our hitch for the sway control ball to mount to.

yeah i got more of a drop hitch now because the used to sit at an angle when i was pulling it. so it should sit flat now and im going to try that. i taqlked to the guy at the dealer i boiught it from and he said sway bars are mostly for enclosed trailer and campers. thanks for the help i wish it would stop raining so i oculd try to find the right spot to tow at.

yeah, you definitely need the right height hitch. Then pull the rig onto the trailer until the trailer sits level (Jeep may or may not be centered over the axles), then pull forward about 4-6". That's what worked for us.
