A couple of interesting things were said there:
"It won't travel the same course as a Hummer H2, but then with a base price of $24,385, you might be able to put two Rubicons in your garage rather than just one H2."
"Though not quite as rugged as that Hummer, Rubicon should go anywhere you choose to take it."

Frankly, I am in disgust...the guy who wrote the article probably drives an H2 and his wife drives a liberty.
Wow, it is blatently obvious that the author has no clue about 4x4ing. H2's are jokes. someone thinking an H2 is a sick offroad machine is similiar to someone thinking thornturds are good for wheelin.
My friend just bought a Rubi, I have driven it, and it is way outa line! I was surprised at how quite the tires were, while the article says theyre noisy. WTF, posers!!

I have driven a rubicon 2x now, and ridden in one a bunch of times. It is much quieter than my MJ with BFG AT's. Those MT/R's don't make any noise on the road!!! Rubicon's are quite IMO. I guess when the only thing you have to compare it to is a high priced foreign luxury car then it may be a little on the noisy side...

i like how they think rich-*** parents looking for a toy for their little spoiled champagne-sipping, ascot-wearing fairy teenagers named "Royington" or something stupid might buy one by mistake icon_smile_big.gif

"Minuses: If you're not a serious off-roader, the ride and handling, not to mention tire noise on dry pavement, will leave you wondering why you didn't opt for an on-road Wrangler or perhaps a Jeep Liberty."
liberty? oh fawk off.

"Because we still tolerate those who drive and use cell phones at the same time and since smokers haven't been tarred and feathered, no reason to discriminate against outdoors enthusiasts."
is he saying that people who like four-wheeling are bad?

He's right... It WON'T travel the same terrain as an H2. Obviously, he was trying to be glib, but he was more right than he knew. Dumbass....
