does anyone know the cheapest place to buy the edelbrock shocks, and if they make them for about a 7 inch lift on an xj, thanks

they don't give lengths in their application guide, but i believe a ford truck application would be equivalent to an XJ 6" or so..
i gotta run right now, but i'll look around and see what i can dig up.
thanks i would realy appreciate the help

Start Here..
Edelbrock 6337 YJ wrangler 3" lift shocks (about 6" more extension than stock XJ shocks)
Edelbrock 6421 ZJ Grand Cherokee with 3" lift (should be dead on for 6" on an XJ)
Call them and see if you can find out the compressed and extended length of the shocks. The shocks will require a little modification to make them fit (the YJ ones need a bar pin pressed into the lower eye and the ZJ ones need a bar pin pressed into the upper eye, bar pin eliminators will also work)
You'll probably have to extend your bumpstops a little bit to keep the shocks from bottoming out when ya stuff them, but it should work good, just compare the measurements to your stock shocks. it should work out pretty good.
