78 f250 w/ 400 wont idle

Its been sitting for a while but while i have been home on break i decided to do a full tune-up, oil and filter change, distributor cap and rotor, plug wires and new plugs, and new filter. I cranked for a little while but didn't notice the idle problem if there was one to begin with but now the engine wont idle correctly. Is this just problem with the idle adjustment or something else. Any help would be appreciated!

Assuming its carbed check the choke and make sure it isnt to low or if the carb isnt getting enough fuel. if you still got problems rig up a fuel pressure guage and make sure your gettin 4-7 psi from the pump and check the hoses and stuff.

It wouldnt hurt to pull the carb and give it a good thorough cleaning to get out all the varnish and gunk thats prolly in it. Some carb cleaner an old toothbrush and some pipe cleaners is what ive always used
