Hey everybody. I got a throttle body spacer and a cone air filter for Christmas this year.
I noticed that a lot of you built your own air tubes and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I need, or maybe direct me to a tech article.
Thanks

i'd like to know as well.
there are a few small hoses, maybe 3, running to the box (it appears that one of them is putting in small amounts of oil). does anyone know what these do? are they nessesary?

Thanks for the links. I used them as a guide when I built mine. Had to change some stuff around sinceI couldn't find all the parts listed. This upgrade made a world of difference. I don't have any power or mileage numbers yet but they are definitly noticable. If anybody needs a write-up or has questions about the indtall (it's really easy) let me know)

thought i'd save some time by just buying rusty's air tube conversion... i mean it's supposed to bolt right on.
first off - i have an '86 2.5L, no prob... they sell one for the 2.5
but my airbox is different from everyone else's i've seen - it doesn't bolt on through the bottom, it has one bolt on the side, and the box is supported by a big bracket rivetted to the wheel well.
ok fine, no big deal. but then i go to slap the tube on and it doesn't fit my intake tube! i'm thinking they accidentally sent the 4.0L tube instead of the 2.5L...
does anyone know what the difference is between the two?
