I just had to rebuild my whole goddamn steering column to tighten up the tilt joint and replace the lock cylinder.

there was so much broken stuff in there that it's not even funny, and they don't make the wires on the turn signal switch long enough to get the front of the column off without breaking something.

all in all, i cut up my knuckles, broke a bunch of tools (good tools, and one rental tool) and screamed enough obsceneties to make Jesus cry.

but, my ignition actually locks now, and my steering wheel doesn't move around in a 4" circle at the tilt joint.

what a pain in the *** though.

then to top it all off, one of my rear shock bolts ripped out when i was testin' the new lift, i broke a tap. it was like -10 celsius out and my propane tank for my heater kept freezin and blockin the valve, shutting the heater off.

broke 3 blades on the sawzall tryin to trim my rockers back so i can get my 33's to actually fit tomorrow.

I can't get those ****ty RE swaybar discos to connect at all, they're really startin to piss me off too. i gotta modify them as well, or just remove the swaybar all together (seriously considering this, but i'm waiting to see how it handles with the 33s under there to make the final decision)

I do however LOVE my IAS shocks, even with stiff-*** springs, the Jeep rides like a freakin cadillac now... a really tall one icon_smile_big.gif

For the cut knuckles Mechanix gloves are great. I can't count how many knuckles I've save with them. Instead of cut they're just midly bruised. Only problem is that you have no feeling through the gloves so I'm constantly taking them off to thread tiny nuts on. Why did Jeep choose miscroscopic 7mm nuts for one of the alternator leads?
