is bleeding an ABS system any different from bleeding regular brakes?

not that i'm aware of, however some cars/vehicals are different. ie: on my Ducati I have to disconnect the caliper and rotate it upside-down to get the air out of it.

shouldn't be any different, you just have to make sure you have no air in the abs unit as that can screw with you. i suggest using a pressure bleeder. i use one at work and it works great on bleeding/flushing brake systems.

I'll be replacing a master cylinder, so air is going to get into the ABS unit. Does the ABS unit have its own bleeder screw?
