View Full Version : Anyone ever change a passenger side mirror???

For a ZJ...the mirror is powered + defrost.....

Lookin' for a very brief walk-through...to see what it would take.....

Just a guess, don't have a ZJ sorry. I'd guess that you should be able to get to the bolts from inside the door. I'd imagine you should be able to disconnect the wiring harness from inside near the kick panel. I've only did that once on a buddy's car but that's how it worked. If not sorry. Rob.

You have to take your door panel off. Make sure you get all the screws. There are a couple semi-hidden ones. You'll have pop off the plugs covering them. Pull out on the bottom of the panel to disengage some panel fasteners. You may have to get a bitt rammy at this point. Then lift up on the panel and remove. You then can remove the fasteners holding the mirror on. Track the wirring harness back to the mirror controls. Should be able to unplugg......
