This is not the finished product. This is an experimental installation to see how it holds up in the Texas heat. So far so good. The pictures are also with the instrument bezel painted flat black instead of the factory grey, that was a different project that turned out well. As for the kit itself, installation time will vary, probably a little over an hour, if you have taken your dash apart before. There is no need to take the gauge cluster out of the dash, which is why the install time is low. Tools required would just be a good fine point phillips head screw driver and a torx driver (for '95 and '96 XJ's). As for the needles, white needles on white gauges is not recommended. Personally I hand painted my neeldes red but I am working with another XJ friend to find something easier. Who knows a red Marks-A-Lot or a Sharpie might do the trick.
